How to tell if an email is actually from Curiosity Stream
- We will never ask you for the following personal information via email:
- Payment information, such as credit or debit card numbers
- Bank account details
- Curiosity Stream password
- We will never request payment through a 3rd party vendor or website.
- If the email you receive contains a link to a URL that you don't recognize, don't tap or click on it. If you have already tapped or clicked, don't enter any information on the website that opened and close the page.
How to report a phishing email to Curiosity Stream
- Send an attachment of the email you received with the subject line "Phishing Email" to abuse@curiositystream.com. The original email as an attachment will help our security team with its investigation.
- Delete the email.
What to do if you clicked a link or provided personal information
- Change your Curiosity Stream password to one that is strong and unique to Curiosity Stream.
- Change your password on any websites for which you used the same password as Curiosity Stream.
- Inform your financial institution if you already entered your payment details on a website claiming to be us.
- Send an attachment of the email you received with the subject line "Phishing Email" to abuse@curiositystream.com.

- Please be careful with any request for your personal information.
- Confirm the sender's email address to see if it's actually from who the email says it's from.
- Don't click links when you're not sure about their legitimacy. Go directly to the website in question instead.
- Never provide personal or financially sensitive information via email.
- Hover over links before you click them. Hovering over them will show you the URL of where the link goes, which allows you to understand better if it's legitimate.
